So much happened in February that we have two very important issues to focus on in March!
The first issue will the Antisemitism Proclamation that the City of Ashland unanimously adopted in early February. This was BIG DEAL and we would like to see other cites, both locally and throughout the state, adopt similar proclamations. We will also discuss how we might get something at the state level. It is very important that we have a clearly defined plan for how to achieve our goals so that we maximize our chances of success. We will be strategizing at the March meeting.

The second issue comes from the wonderful presentation at our February meeting by Tina Malka, Hillel Director of Antisemitism International. We have a commitment from Hillel to support and assist us should we choose to approach SOU about acknowledging and addressing antisemitism on university campuses.
We are also forming sub-committees for anyone who wants to particularly focus on one or both issues.
