We are delighted you are interested in joining the Temple Emek Shalom community. We are in a challenging time and are pleased to continue to offer our community a rich selection of services, educational programs, and opportunities for spiritual enrichment.
One of our highest priorities as Temple Co-Presidents is for new members to find their place in our community as quickly and comfortably as possible. Our Rabbi, staff, board, and membership committee are all here to help you feel welcome and at home.
We understand that people join a synagogue for many reasons. It is our hope that whatever your reasons, our community will be a vehicle for making your Jewish life and the Jewish lives of those living in the Rogue Valley richer and more fulfilling. We have found there is no better way to appreciate life in our community, meet people and gain a grasp of our inner workings, than to join a committee or volunteer at an event and offer your knowledge, special talents, or mere schlepping (hauling) ability. We’re sure you will find our participatory culture meaningful and rewarding.
