Racial Justice Meeting
Wednesday, February 15
7:00-8:30 pm (Via Zoom)
This month, we will be meeting with Tina Malka, Director of Antisemitism Education and Associate Director, Israel Action and Addressing Antisemitism Program, with Hillel International. She works with 15 Hillels regionally on the West Coast to support their education programs on Israel, co-develops educational materials on antisemitism for Hillel International and facilitates the implementation of them across the country, and supervises the regional IAP staff.
This program looks at the origins and evolution of antisemitism and how it manifests today, with a focus on the college campus setting. This video-based curriculum aims to help participants better understand, identify, and proactively address antisemitism. The session will revolve around three short videos that introduce each topic, which are:
1. What is Judaism? Who are Jews?
2. History of Antisemitism
3. Antisemitism Today
Here is the link to the three videos (you just need to sign in once to get access to all three)
