Shalom Families!
We are thrilled to announce registration is now open for GESHER: Rogue Valley Jewish School for Kids! We are very excited to continue this exciting chapter of Jewish learning and community in the Rogue Valley.
Last year, Temple Emek Shalom (TES) and Havurah Shir Hadash joined together with a shared vision to create one vibrant program where Jewish children and families can learn, pray, and play together. This year, we are delighted to introduce our new name: GESHER: Rogue Valley Jewish School for Kids. Gesher, the Hebrew word for “bridge,” reflects our vision of a school that bridges our two congregations while also serving as a welcoming bridge into Jewish community for families across the Rogue Valley. Together, we are building a strong foundation for Jewish life—rooted in tradition, alive with curiosity and creativity, and nourished by the joy of belonging.
Caregivers are also welcome to remain in the building or backyard during school hours.

Throughout the year, caregivers are invited to join the rabbis in the Library—building relationships, exploring conversations about parenting and Jewish life, and supporting one another. Families in the older grades may also have sessions with special activities (sometimes with students) as part of the journey toward B’Mitzvah.
If you’re not yet a member but are curious about joining, please reach out to the rabbis. They’d love to help you get to know each congregation and explore whether one—or both—might feel like the right home for your family. Both congregations welcome everyone and offer flexible, personalized dues options. If you join both, we encourage you to consider supporting each at the same level.
